Part of my Early Collection, this landscape was created during the beginning of my studies at the Milan Art Institute. Even early on, I found myself drawn to expressive color, atmosphere, and dramatic light within natural landscapes.
The cool blues of the foreground contrast against warm golden hills and distant mountain light, creating a stylized interpretation of the California high desert environment that inspires so much of my work.
This piece reflects an early exploration of color temperature, depth, and painterly texture while capturing the quiet openness of the landscape.
