My Journey
Creativity has been a quiet thread running through my life for as long as I can remember. I studied art and interior design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Poland, building a creative foundation that would stay with me throughout the years, even when life moved in different directions.
After moving to California in 1985, my path expanded into programming, web design, and marketing. I spent many years building both career and family life, while creativity quietly remained beneath the surface, patiently waiting for its time to return.
Today, I live in the peaceful mountain community of Stallion Springs, California, surrounded by nature — oak trees, wildlife, changing seasons, and moments of stillness that often find their way into my paintings. This environment deeply influences both my life and my art.

Becoming an Artist
I am currently studying in the Mastery Program at Milan Art Institute, where I continue developing my artistic voice through oil painting, mixed media, and classical foundations.
My work is deeply inspired by nature, wildlife, expressive realism, and the dramatic interplay of light and shadow found in the works of old masters such as Rembrandt. I am especially drawn to rich textures, atmospheric backgrounds, and subjects that carry quiet emotion and presence.
Through both study and experimentation, I continue exploring themes of observation, transformation, and connection to nature while slowly shaping a style and artistic voice uniquely my own.
This website is not only a gallery of finished works, but also a reflection of an ongoing journey — a place where study slowly becomes art.
