Part of my ongoing studies in portrait fundamentals, this acrylic portrait explores subtle shifts in temperature, expressive light, and the complexity found within skin tones.
Rather than pursuing strict realism alone, I focused on atmosphere, emotional presence, and the balance between softness and structure. Warm reds and oranges interact with cooler shadows to create depth, luminosity, and quiet intensity within the portrait.
